Transnet SAP HR SYSTEMS ANALYST

Branch: Information & Communication Technology

The incumbent will be employed in the Information Communication and Technology Department and will report direct to the Manager of HR Systems (Information and Communication Technology). He/she will be responsible for user support, requirement gathering, testing and optimal utilisation of the HCM within Transnet Rail Engineering, focusing on SAP Learning Solution (LSO), e-Recruitment, Performance Management and Human Capital Automation Initiatives. The incumbent will be responsible for requirements gathering, documentation and first level support on the Group’s HCM.

Outputs: • Ensure proper utilisation of HCM’s vast array of functionality by being the HCM Change Agent, ensuring users are properly trained and empowered • Ensure all first level incidents are resolved within SLA, and monitor and analyse all incidents and requests for trends • Map all HR and related processes using ARIS • Prepare training documentation on HR initiatives and be the custodian of SAP Productivity Pack in ICT, thus support the PMO in ensuring the full utilisation of this tool • Be a Test Analyst on key ICT projects using the existing testing tools such as Solution Manager, HP Quality Centre and Load-runner
• Play a role in support for monthly payrolls, quarterly gain-share and annual management incentives.

Minimum requirements: • B degree or National Diploma in Human Resource or ICT discipline • Strong background in Business Process Management, especially using ARIS • 5-8 years’ hands-on experience in SAP doing support, training and system configuration • Basic knowledge of SAP Personnel Development, time management, organisational development and personnel administration • IT project management experience (qualification will be an advantage).
