ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
POSITION TITLE: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (2 POSTS)
REPORTING TO: SR. PROJECTS MANAGER
? JOB REQUIREMENTS / SPECIFICATIONS
• Bachelor Degree Electrical Engineering with 3 to 5 years of Industrial experience.
• Working experience with new project installations.
• Knowledge of making / reading Electrical circuit diagrams
• Working knowledge on switch gears, pumps, motors installations.
• Age at least 25-40 years old
• Excellent oral and written communication skill in both Kiswahili and English Language
• Strong organizational skills; able to coordinate multiple people & tasks; and be a team player
• Good management and supervisory skills.
? JOB DESCRIPTIONS
? The following are some of duties and responsibilities to be carried out in this position;
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards
• Operate computer-assisted PLC Software or equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Direct or coordinate for diagnosing the electrical equipments to identify the problems and solving the problems to ensure compliance with specification
• Electrical planned maintenance
• Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards
• Maintain all Electrical Equipments with connect to utility, bottling lines and related equipments
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components and conduct necessary testing’s
• Estimates time and materials required for repairs and preparing requisitions for new parts.
• Conducts safety checks of all electrical installations and its maintenance
