Skynet Worldwide Express, a division of Crossroads Distribution (Pty) Ltd, has an impressive pedigree. From humble beginnings in the early 80s, the company now, is one of the larger courier organisations. We employ more that 1 600 people in 26 branches in South Africa with a fleet of over 800 vehicles. We're looking for an additional employee at our Isando branch to step into the role of:
Business Analyst
Directly accountable to the National IT Manager, you will design and implement business solutions for clients in particular and the business in general. This will involve (inter alia) creating functional
specifications for projects and acting as a consultant to the design team during this phase of new systems planning. A good deal of project management is also part of your brief.
An IT degree (BSc Computer Science/Informatics/BCom IS) is the starting point (Honours level preferred), backed by some 3 to 5 years' commercial working experience as a Business/Systems Analyst. Process engineering, time management, communication and presentation skills will be required. Exposure to the supply chain/courier/logistics industry would be an advantage.
