REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
Minimum 5 years set-top box support and qualification experience
Thorough knowledge of decoders and peripherals, home networking and interconnectivity
Understanding of consumer electronics and home networking trends
PC literacy: At least mid-level competency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Production of research and recommendations documents
Creative and forward thinking
Innovation (to modernize or improve on existing ideas)

Product implementation and support team management
Manage a smooth transition of new decoders and or software from development into the field to subscribers in South Africa and Africa
Implementation and continuous improvement of field trial processes
Collate field trial feedback, investigate and communicate to decoder hardware and software vendors
Maintain a knowledgebase of known product defects to speed up infield query resolution
Executive information maintenance on field trial decoders, home equipment setup and other peripherals
Compilation of FAQs and other product related communication
Technical product communication and support services to Marketing, Corporate Affairs, and Operations training teams
Technical product communication and support services to the Africa Business
Participation in field trial processes audit
