1. SENIOR LEGAL OFFICER Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Director, Legal services and Corportae Affairs Department, the senior legal officer will support the respective departments and units of the Bank external customers service providers business partners and consultants in providing legal advisory services.
Job Specifications:
LLB Degree and Master in Corportae Law/financial law qualification to practice law in the Bank’s member states; Qualifications in civil law/Roman Dutch law will be an added advantage.
Strong legal background with at least 8 years of relevant supervisory level professional experience in a reputable financial institution or corporate law firm.
Thorough knowledge of preparation and registration of securities receivership and matters relating to banking and finance. Excellent writing and communication skills; working knowledge of French language shall be an added advantage.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural setting.
2 LEGAL OFFICES
Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Director, Legal services and Corportae Affairs Department, the Staff member I responsible for loan agreements, providing legal advice and ensuring adequate legal representation during court proceedings
Job specifications:
L.L.B Degree and qualification to practice law in the Bank’s member states L.L.M Degree and qualification sin civil law/roman Dutch law will be an added advantage.
A minimum of 5 years experience in a reputable financial institution or corporate law firm.
Thorough knowledge of preparation and registration of securities receivership and matters relating t banking and finance. Excellent writing and communication skills; working knowledge of French language shall be an added advantage
Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural setting.
