Communications Services Officer – UK

Salary: Starting from £24,580

Location: Vauxhall, London

It's hard to believe that nearly 900 million people still don't have access to clean water and 2.6 billion don't have access to a safe toilet. The resulting diseases kill 4,000 children every day – more than AIDS, malaria and measles combined.

To meet these challenges and transform lives, we need well-written and engaging communications to attract new support and inspire action. We are looking for a talented editor and writer to join WaterAid's Communications Team and produce top quality content for our various audiences.

You will plan and produce a range of materials for our fundraising teams, from posters to magazines. As an authority on our brand, your role will also involve advising colleagues across the organisation on how to communicate on WaterAid's behalf. A good working knowledge of Adobe InDesign will be very useful for occasional in-house design and layout jobs.

Working with others to turn their ideas into engaging copy and visuals, you will need to know how to convince, negotiate and compromise. You will ideally have experience of managing authors, designers and printers, but your strongest skill will be a proven ability to write and edit accurate and engaging copy.

Please note, in order to apply for this role you must be able to demonstrate your eligibility to work in the UK.
