The management of Department III (Financial Markets) is looking for an

Economic Advisor

This is a key advisory function which will give you an optimal opportunity of pursuing your strong interest in central bank issues, applying your extensive knowledge of economics and your experience in the field, and using your excellent editorial skills.

You will advise departmental management on a wide range of central bank issues. You will gain an overview of the wide-ranging functions of a central bank, work closely with the business units and draw up top-quality briefings and statements on topical questions. You will also support departmental management in the preparation of speeches.

A university degree in macroeconomics is required for this demanding position.
Ideally, you will also have had experience in a comparable advisory function. You are able to develop complex topics in depth and tailor your presentation of these topics to the requirements of individual recipients. You have a strong sense of both quality and service, and you can express yourself idiomatically in German, English and French.

This is a challenging position in which you will work closely with departmental
management and can expect an attractive working environment. You will be
located within the ‘Investment Strategy and Financial Market Analysis’ unit.
