Assistant Country Director-Programs

Under the direction of the Country Director (CD) and as part of the Country Office Senior Management Team (SMT) the Assistant Country Director Programs (ACDP) will play a key role in setting the strategic direction of the Country Office. They will oversee all programs and projects and will be responsible for ensuring the establishment and management of processes to support high quality and development and implementation. They will lead senior managers ensuring best practice in both people and program management. In conjection with the CD they will perform representational and fundraising duties and will ensure that CARE's vision, mission and core values are promoted. This role requires frequent presence in the field, atleast 20 percent of the time, to provide programming support and to liaise with local partners and communities.
