Amnesty International Policy Coordinator - Economic, Social and Cultural Rights

Salary: £41,124 | Location: Central London

About the role

Amnesty International is a worldwide organization working to end human rights violations. As the Economic, Social and Cultural Rights Policy Coordinator, you will provide expert advice and help shape Amnesty International’s policy development, campaign strategies and research into violations of economic, social and cultural rights. You will provide expert advice on the right to adequate housing and support Amnesty International’s Demand Dignity Campaign.

About you

You must have in-depth knowledge of economic, social and cultural rights and expertise in human rights research and analysis. You will have professional experience of conducting research, drafting policy and strategy papers. You will be an excellent communicator with well developed project management and organizational skills, with experience of working to deadlines and prioritizing work under pressure.

Prior experience of working on the right to adequate housing is required. Experience of working on economic, social and cultural rights issues within the context of ‘slums’ and informal settlements is strongly desirable.
