Stakeholder Communications Officer: Communications and Marketing Division

Purpose

Under the direction of the Director: Communications and Marketing help develop and implement stakeholder engagement and communication strategies and plans; and develop and write various communication material to be disseminated through a variety of communication and marketing platforms such as the website (internet and intranet), electronic newsletters, publications and the media, targeting selected stakeholder communities.


Requirements

A 3 year Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or similar with at least 4 to 5 years relevant experience in a similar position
OR
Matric plus 7 to 8 years relevant experience in a similar position

where such experience includes: -

  • At least 2 years previous experience in communication, marketing and journalism.
  • Previous experience and/or proven ability in writing and editing. This will be assessed during the selection process.
  • Previous experience in dealing with developing and/or executing stakeholder engagement and communication strategies and plans.
