Theatre of Witness Project Coordinator – The Playhouse

The Playhouse, wishes to appoint a Project Co-Coordinator who will be responsible for the co-ordination and financial administration of “The Playhouses Theatre of Witness Programme”. The Theatre of Witness Project Coordinator will support the Theatre of Witness Artistic Director, to work with people and communities directly affected by The Troubles throughout the North West, using an internationally renowned creative model – Theatre of Witness – to promote healing and reconciliation. The Coordinator will be responsible for the overall organisation, management and supervision of the Theatre of Witness Programme.

Applicants must have a Third Level Education Degree or equivalent qualification in Arts Management, Community Development, or other relevant discipline as well as at least three years of experience of Arts Management, particularly in a community arts training or a community relations work context. Applicants must also have experience in liaising and working with community, voluntary, public and statutory agencies, and of delivering significant, complex community based projects. Experience of administering EU funding is highly desirable, as well as a full driving license.

Salary: £25,000 40 Hrs/Wk(2.5-year contract)
