Position Description:

The Temporary Senior Systems Analyst will work in the Financial Services Department to support efforts to provide solutions to the financial information needs in the organization. Under the guidance of the Financial Systems Director, the Senior Systems Analyst will develop, maintain and support computer based financial reports, provide technical assistance with the financial systems and also documents, and supports in-house developed databases applications

Essential Job Functions:
1. Gather reporting requirements from users to design and build a comprehensive reporting environment with Business Objects Crystal Reports.
2. Design and create reports in Crystal Report and related data access objects such as tables, views, stored procedures and SQL commands.
3. Develop test reports and conduct quality assurance testing.
4. Develop appropriate materials and provide training to users on existing and new reports and applications.
5. Provide technical support for internal customers with questions on reporting, database functions or operations related to financial databases.
6. Develop, write and maintain documentation of the financial systems and reports.
7. Program, maintain and support specialized reports utilizing appropriate business tools to meet the reporting needs of the users.
8. Provide technical support to maintain the content of the AED Crystal Enterprise site (ePortfolio).

Specific Knowledge Requirements:
3 or more years experience with reporting tools showing the ability to generate complex reports using Crystal Reports X and XI

3 or more years experience developing data structure, relational data bases, stored procedures and views, using Microsoft SQL 2000-2005

Experience writing reports that have financial components

Strong Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Excel

Business Objects Developer experience, using Business Objects Universe Designer and knowledge of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, ETL, and OLAP is a plus

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors in one of the following or related fields: Information Systems required or equivalent combination of education and work experience
