Director - Namibia Nature Foundation

The Board of Trustees of the Namibia Nature Foundation (NNF) is looking to appoint a Director.

The NNF has been one of the most effective and influential environmental organisations in Namibia over the last 25 years, with a large portfolio of projects and programmes (see www.nnf.org.na). Its mission is to promote sustainable development, to conserve biodiversity and natural ecosystems and to promote the wise and ethical use of natural resources for the benefit of all Namibians, both present and future. The NNF has a highly skilled and experienced staff of some 25 people, and additional consultants.

The Director is responsible for all aspects of the organisation's activities, performance, development and growth, and reports directly to the Board of Trustees.

The Board of Trustees is looking for an inspired leader in the broader environmental sector; strong technical and communications skills, and an excellent motivator. Applicants must have strong management and fund-raising skills, and a good understanding of financial management. A good post-graduate qualification in a relevant field is a requirement, preferably at the level of PhD.
