A world-class energy industry service company requires the services of the following persons, to service various product groups:

HOD: BOILER MAINTENANCE SERVICES

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership in the organisation, control and support to the Boiler Maintenance Services Product Grouping, as well as effectively apply the Boiler Maintenance Services Product Grouping resources to achieve the required objectives and expected deliverables.

The incumbent will accept responsibility and perform essential duties as follows: • Strategic Management of Boiler Maintenance Services Product Grouping • Strategic Business Planning, Continuous Improvement and Innovation • Leadership and Control of Business, Staff and Other Resources in the Boiler Maintenance Services Product Grouping • Health and Safety, Environmental, Risk and Quality Compliance and Improvement • Manage Outputs and Performance of the Boiler Maintenance Services Product Groupings • Marketing, Customer and Stakeholder Relationship Management and Communication • Quotations and Negotiations.

The following requirements are applicable: • A BEng (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) • A BSc (Quantity Surveyor) or equivalent qualification • GMR2 (Construction Regulations) • A relevant Management qualification (eg MBA, Management Development Diploma, etc) • Five years’ specific experience in a Senior Management role in a specific (or closely related) industry • Good operational experience and background.

The successful incumbents will be appointed in terms of Rotek/Roshcon’s Employment Equity policies and procedures.

HEAD OF BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT

The incumbent supports Executive and Senior Management in identifying and analysing industry and market trends, and the performance of the company’s products, opportunities and threats. Further, the successful candidate will assist the Executive in analysing M&A and divesture options, as well as compiling strategy documents.

The incumbent will accept responsibility and perform essential duties as follows: • Strategic Analysis and Forecasting • Strategy Development.

The following requirements are applicable: • A three-year degree/diploma in Industrial Engineering or a related field. Business qualifications would be advantageous • Ten years’ experience in an analytical role • Strong business process management capability • Experience in developing business strategy and in business growth and innovation • Prior experience in consulting, strategy and market analysis • A strong understanding of the electricity industry and good corporate experience would be an advantage.


HEAD: CUSTOMER SERVICES

The successful candidate will direct and oversee all aspects of the company’s Customer Services function, with emphasis on coordinating and standardising the Key Account Management (KAM) function across the full Eskom value chain.

The incumbent will accept responsibility and perform essential duties as follows: • Strategic Management of the Customer Service Centre of Excellence (CoE) • Drive Customer Services as a Value-added Business Partner for the Company (both internally and externally) • Develop, Implement and Stabilise the KAM Function within the Company • Operational Development and Execution of Business Acquisition, Retention and Growth through a Sales/Business Development Strategy • Strategically Manage Stakeholder Perceptions by Implementing an External Communication Plan to Foster a Culture of Customer Centricity.

The following requirements are applicable: • A three-year degree/diploma • A relevant formal qualification in Sales Marketing/Communication • Ten years’ relevant experience, of which five years should have been at management level, preferably in relationship management or a marketing and sales environment • Technical knowledge of products in one or more product grouping would be advantageous • Experience in engineering would be advantageous • Knowledge of business management and risk management • Well versed in the MS Office suite of products.

KEY ACCOUNTS MANAGERS (4 POSTS)

The successful candidates will develop, maintain and grow client relationships by managing and coordinating the sales effort, driving the product grouping business growth/sales strategy, identifying and responding to client needs and by recognising new business opportunities.

The incumbents will accept responsibility and perform essential duties as follows: • Operational Management of the Key Account Function • Operational Development and Execution of Business Acquisition, Retention and Growth Through a Sales/Business Development Strategy • Strategic Relationship Building and Stakeholder Management to Promote a Culture of Customer Centricity
• Product Grouping-specific KPIs.

The following requirements are applicable: • A three-year degree/diploma in Engineering and Project Management). A qualification in Sales/Marketing or a related field would be advantageous, along with a Business qualification • Five years’ relevant experience in a similar or more technical role within the relevant industry • Technical product knowledge and familiarity with the industry environment would be advantageous.
