The Job Descriptions for the Academic Positions also have Personal Specifications attached to them that prospective academics should refer to.

INSTRUCTIONFORALLAPPLICANTS,ADMINSTRATIONANDACADEMICPOSITIONS

Your full application, which should be posted to the Vice Chancellor, hand delivered to the IUEA Campus in Kansanga, Kampala, or sent in pdf format to recruitment@iuea.ac.ug, must comprise:-

1. A completed Application Form – download the Word version from the Vacancies page on the website and submit it as hard copy or by email.
2. A Candidate Submission that presents your suitability for the job. Your suitability will be judged by matching your experience, skills, knowledge and achievements with the Job Description and the Selection Criteria contained in the Personal Specification where available. You should demonstrate how your experience, measurable skills, knowledge, and achievements match our requirements.
3. For all applicants, a Curriculum Vitae that lists:-
   1. Qualifications
   2. Positions held (list the most recent first)
   3. Types of experience gained
   4. Significant achievements
   5. A minimum of three referees chosen to cover all aspects of your career and background

Additionally for Academic Positions:-

1. Membership of Professional Societies
2. Courses developed and/or taught
3. Research interests
4. Publications and other forms of research output

We will respond to your application within two weeks of the closing date. Potentially successful candidates will be offered an interview. The appointment will normally be made on the completion of the interviews. However we reserve the right to not make an appointment.
