General Description The IT Director has full responsibility for all aspects of InterAction’s technology. He/she plans, organizes, implements, and maintains InterAction’s technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities This is a hands-on position requiring the ability and willingness to: • Carry out detailed technical activities necessary to ensure that all hardware and software systems function as needed. • Think, plan, innovate, and implement at the organizational level. • Work with and supervise a seasoned Systems Administrator

As InterAction’s lead IT professional, the IT Director’s areas of responsibility include: 1. Systems and Network Administration. 2. Email (Microsoft Exchange & Active Directory). 3. Telecommunications, OWA, Windows Remote Desktops, PRI and SIPS. 4. Avaya IP-Office. 5. Video-conferencing, MediaPoint, Tandberg, Polycom. 6. Managing relationships with vendors and service providers. 7. Webcast, streaming, podcasting. 8. Staff Technology Training on regular basis. 9. Help desk and user support.

Qualifications 1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. 2. Microsoft System Engineer certification required. 3. Windows Media Server Services required. 4. Knowledge of Drupal and CiviCrm a plus. 5. Background in electrical engineering a plus. 6. Minimum 5 years hand-on experience in the responsibility areas listed above. 7. Experience in smaller companies requiring operation of integrated systems.
