FHI 360 seeks a Recruiter based in Research Triangle Park, NC to find, assess, and recruit talented people for our organization. The Recruiter will lead global searches for positions based in the US and abroad. She/he will be supported by a Recruiting Coordinator and an HR business partner.

Position Description:

Develop Strategy - Lead recruitment for specified client groups by creating a structured approach: Identify timeline, internal stakeholders to involve and key roles, and a sourcing strategy; Utilize applicant tracking system to manage recruitments from requisition to hire, ensuring compliance with FHI 360 policies and practices and applicable state and federal laws; Develop messages for ads, e-mail, and phone calls to attract qualified candidates. Recruit Candidates – Identify qualified applicants for US and international positions: Develop innovative approaches to identifying qualified applicants; Collaborate with team members to advertise jobs and source for applicants through resume banks and networking through associations, conferences, companies, alumni groups, and other organizations that prospective candidates might belong. Screen and Interview – Coordinate a collaborative yet efficient interview process: Screen, interview and evaluate candidates and coordinate interviews with search committee; Draft interview guides when appropriate and collect interview evaluations; Lead post interview discussions, when appropriate, and help search committees come to a consensus on candidates. Work with hiring managers to identify and execute next steps; Conduct thorough reference check and coordinate background investigation, making job offers contingent upon successful completion. Help Develop Offers - Collaborate with the HR Partners, hiring managers and compensation analyst on job offers: Work with compensation analysts to develop fair and equitable job offers; Make offers or develop talking points for hiring managers and compensation staff on candidate wants.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or its international equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field. Typically requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience with staffing/recruitment activities and practices or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification as Professional Recruiter (PRC) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred. Experience recruiting people internationally, specifically in developing countries preferred. Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO). Legal knowledge – strong grounding in equal employment opportunity, AAP, ADA, and other US or country state and Federal regulations applicable to hiring and employment practices. Collaborative leadership skills – ability to identify shared goals in recruiting talent and to move hiring managers and search committees to decisions. Sourcing savvy – ability to find and reach out to passive candidates with key messages. Initiative – ability to develop new tools and approaches to recruit talent. Resourcefulness – ability to tap into and utilize current and former staff to help attract talented people. Organizational skills – ability to lead searches through phases and timelines and to keep hiring managers and search committees apprised of progress. Demonstrated success working well in a team environment with technical and administrative staff while also acting and thinking independently. Proven success using online recruiting tools and strategies to identify talent. Proficiency in Boolean Search Strings. Demonstrated success analyzing and helping solve problems. Appropriate knowledge and sensitivity to multi-cultural populations and areas of diversity. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office, internet searching, and applicant tracking systems. Working experience with Workday HRIS system preferred. Typical office environment. Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time; ability to lift 5-50 lbs.
