Senior Research Analyst, Litigation Consulting Group
Senior Research Analysts in the Litigation Group at Nathan Associates work closely with senior staff economists to assist in preparing expert testimony for antitrust, intellectual property, commercial damages, and other types of litigation. Senior Research Analysts contribute substantively to the development of methodologies and expert opinions, in addition to supervising Research Analysts. Senior Research Analysts pay close attention to detail, have excellent programming skills, strong communication skills, think analytically and critically, and have a strong desire to learn. They assist senior staff members in conducting economic and statistical research and analysis; collecting and synthesizing economic, statistical and financial data; creating and managing complex databases and spreadsheets; and reviewing documents.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a strong academic record and a bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or a related field and preferably have taken courses in statistics, econometrics, and applied microeconomics. Senior Research Analysts should have two years of experience in economic consulting and should be proficient SAS or Stata programmers. Those with less experience should apply for the Research Analyst position. Following their tenure at Nathan Associates, Research Analysts and Senior Research Analysts often pursue graduate degrees at top universities.
