Turnaround & Execution Coordinator

About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide specialist expertise in the Planning and Coordination for the Execution of Major Events and to ensure availability and plant reliability in accordance with maintenance management strategies.
Key accountabilities
 
Position Specific
Planning
• Responsible for all aspects of planning, schedule development and execution of the Turnaround.
• Coordinate the development of the Work Scope for each Turnaround.
• Liaise with site based Business Units to ensure that all work has been identified.
• Develop and coordinate plans for rehabilitation or installation of new equipment, machinery or buildings
• Ensure successful planning & execution of all Turnarounds to schedule and within budget
• Schedule and Chair Turnaround meetings at site as required
• Liaise with stakeholders and business areas to ensure that data is available in a timely manner to meet the requirements of request
• Maintain work and activity records and prepare written reports to management
• Assist the Turnaround & Execution Superintendent as appropriate in delivering development plans and use of the relevant maintenance systems.
• Provide support to all functional teams to ensure that they meet their gate requirements.

Scheduling• Preparing detailed critical path Schedule using Primavera (P6)
• Ensure workload is prioritised and optimised to meet both production lead-times and business needs
• Monitor and provide continual updates to assist with tracking Turnaround progress and performance.
 
Review• Participate in all gate and readiness reviews.
• Provide support to all functional teams to ensure that they meet their gate requirements.
• Monitor and continually update the tracking Chart for progress, to ensure that all gate criteria is completed on time.

Reporting• Liaise with stakeholders and business areas to ensure that data is available in a timely manner to meet the requirements of request
• Develop and generate maintenance system reports on the system’s performance
• Positively promoting project awareness at all times and cascading messages as detailed in the project communication plan

Training• Liaise with the QGC training department to arrange additional training as required.
 
People Management• The incumbent must adhere to the annual HR cycle and meet deadlines within the appropriate timeframes

What we are looking for
ExperiencePosition holder should demonstrate experience in the following:
• Maintaining maintenance systems as well as other technology and systems which support them
• Planning maintenance work schedules for Turnarounds and or Shutdown maintenance.
• Preparing detailed critical path plans using Primavera software
• Coordinating with all stakeholders to optimise planned maintenance and to minimise interference with operation of plant
• Experience in the following areas is also required:
• Data presentation
• Maintenance system reports
• Knowledge of Maximo & SAP
• Oil & Gas experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes• A technical professional who demonstrates extensive experience in all facets of maintenance, planning, and scheduling activities
• Demonstrated experience in administering maintenance management systems
• Demonstrated experience in developing and analysing reports, and associated reporting systems
• Support successful planning execution of projects to schedule and within budget
• Demonstrated competency to provide a high standard of services to internal customers
• Ability to manage/co-ordinate people in a multi disciplined maintenance setting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Superior computer literacy and mastery of a suite of packages including Microsoft office, Excel, Project and Primavera.
• Ability to use initiative and find solutions to complex  problems
• Commitment to safety
• Flexible approach to work and ability to work outside the scope of the position where required
• Ability to multi task in a dynamic operational environment to ensure deadlines are met
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a multi disciplinary production team

Special Features• This position will be based in the field, and the incumbent could be required to live locally
