About the Job:
Calvert Foundation is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Officer - Corporate Finance. S/he will be responsible for preparing the organization’s budget model and financial forecasts. S/he will also serve as a key financial partner to the organization’s operating committee and all of its business development teams.

S/he will also serve as a key financial partner to the organization’s operating committee and all of its business development teams.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key partner to the chief financial officer and assist him with his corporate responsibilities;
- Prepare the organization’s budget and financial forecast models for management and board discussions;
- Engage with the various business development teams to model and forecast new business opportunities, and its effect on the organization’s capitalization and asset liability structure;
- Support all departments and teams by providing detailed financial analysis and reporting, including budget vs. actual reporting;
- Assist the finance department with treasury functions and manage the organization’s cash balance;
- Track and calculate financial covenants, draft monthly, quarterly, and annual board, funder, and external stakeholder reporting;
- Serve as an organization wide point of contact for external due diligence requests and provide ad-hoc financial analysis on new business opportunities;
- Provide general support to the chief financial officer including taking minutes at quarterly board audit and finance committee meetings, and monthly risk management and asset liability committee meetings;
- Assist the CEO, CFO, and the strategic initiatives team in strengthening the organization’s capitalization structure by assisting with the negotiation of grant and subordinated debt agreements and other special purpose vehicles.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree with strong academic performance in business or related field preferred;
- About 2 years of financial analysis experience in a corporate finance environment preferred;
- Understanding and ability to model key financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow);
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word;
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize competing demands;
- Professional demeanor and attention to detail;
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude, and flexibility to do what it takes in a team environment.
