Senior International Recruiter

We have an immediate opening for an International Recruiter to join Nathan Associates’ Recruitment Team in Arlington, Virginia.

Responsible for full cycle recruitment of candidates primarily for overseas positions inclusive of candidate identification, interviewing, reference checks and salary verifications, preparation of personnel-related sections of proposals, and formatting and editing CVs. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with a network of consultants and maintaining firm consultant database. Represent Nathan Associates at international development career fairs and networking events.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, international development, or related field
• Four or more years of successful recruiting experience in one of the following environments: contractor or NGO recipient of U.S. federal grants or contracts, executive recruiting agency, staffing agency, or U.S. government agency
• Demonstrable knowledge of and deep interest in currents and trends in international development
• Evidence of strong organizational skills and ability to multitask when facing tight deadlines
• Strong verbal and proven written communication skills
• Permanent U.S. work authorization required

Preferred qualifications

• Developing country experience
• Proficiency in a relevant foreign language such as Arabic, French, Portuguese, Russian, or Spanish
• Master’s Degree in international relations, economics, trade policy, international development, or related field
