As a part of EG Global Supply Chain business unityou will be part of Product Data Management (PDM) team responsible to maintain productstructure setup (bill of materials) for EG server, storage, networking andsoftware products in various HP tools & systems for new and sustaining processescatering to the dynamic business needs.

Job description

• Responsibleto support day to day operational support for product structure setup and/orchange management activities for regional or global business units based onassigned process area
• Abilityto understand HP products, components and sub components in PDM perspective
• Opportunityto apply Lean tools and their implementation to include Value Stream Maps,Standard work, etc. Applies Industrial Engineering skills, tools andmethodology to resolve problems and re-engineer processes
• Workson product data management problems and projects of diverse complexity and scope
• Flexibilityto work in various time zones based on customer demands or process areaassigned

Educationand Experience Required

Knowledgeand Skills Required

• Conceptualunderstanding of product design, manufacturing / assembly / test processespreferably in electronics products

• Goodunderstanding of product structure (bill of materials), change managementprocesses in a design / manufacturing industry

• Goodverbal and written skills with ability to work with global customers

• Resultsoriented with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

• Abilityto think out of the box for creative solutions

• Goodanalytical reasoning and problem solving capabilities

• Experiencein any data analytics or code development will be advantage
