Reporting to the Secretary General, you are part of the management team of the organization. Heading a staff of some 20 social security experts and administrators, your key objectives are to strengthen knowledge production, provide a proactive platform and network for members and promote dynamic social security at the international level. Your functions are both strategic – policy analysis & studies, anticipating change -, and operational – information collection and database management, and ensuring good practices at all times. In implementing your function, you cooperate closely with the Promotion Branch. You maintain and develop close relations with our members, in particular with the 11 Technical Commissions as well as with external organizations (ILO, OECD, etc). The skills required in this position are vast and include priorities and resources management, project management of research and technical development activities. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. We are looking for a personality able to demonstrate leadership with his team and colleagues and gain the acceptance of our global membership through a professional, customer oriented approach. A seasoned manager – 10 to 15 years experience with extensive practice at international level - you are recognized as an expert in key social security issues such as Health or Pension (and at least one additional key area) and well versed or capable to contribute constructively in the others. You hold an advanced university degree in Political Science or Economy, ideally complemented with an MBA. You are fluent in both French and English and knowledge of German and/or Spanish would be an asset. We offer an ILO contract with standard package (D1) and diplomatic privileges.
