Applications for the position of a

Full Professor (Wilfried-Guth-Stiftungsprofessur)
in Constitutional Political Economy and Competition Policy (W3)

are invited by the Department of Economics and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Freiburg. The position is available as of winter term 2011/12.

The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research and to teach in the field of Constitutional Political Economy and Competition Policy. Desirable experience includes a research profile dealing with the foundations of a liberal competitive order in a globalized world and a focus on transnational aspects in Constitutional Political Economy and Competition Policy. Primary responsibilities include teaching students in Economics in the Bachelor and Master programmes as well as Ph.D. students. The ability and willingness to teach in English is expected.

Candidates must have a completed university degree, pedagogical aptitude, a doctoral degree and the “venia legendi” or equivalent scientific merits.
