Assessment Specialist (Ref HR/COMP475/5009)
Branch: Human Capital
Reporting directly to the Recruitment and Selection Manager (Human Capital), the incumbent will manage the day-to-day implementation of the assessment function at Transnet Rail Engineering for the purposes of recruitment, selection and development of human capital. This includes the implementation of an appropriate assessment strategy in support of the achievement of Transnet Rail Engineering's human capital objectives.
Minimum requirements: • An Honours degree in Industrial Psychology • Registration as a Psychometrist with HPCSA • 5-8 years' Human Capital experience at operational level (2 years at middle management level) • A Master's degree in Industrial or Organisational Psychology and registration as a Psychologist will be added advantages.
Knowledge: • Individual, group and organisation behaviour • Research and benchmarking • Psychometric evaluations • Assessment strategy development.
Skills: • Effective communication and interpersonal • Facilitation • Negotiation • Effective project and task management • Analytical abilities • Creativity • Code 08 driver's licence.
