Training is an important and growing component of our work and we are now seeking a dynamic and creative individual to further develop our business, especially in Africa.
The business development manager will seek out new business opportunities and then develop proposals with new and existing clients, working closely with subject area experts and local staff to understand needs and possible solutions. An important part of the role will be to develop local and international partnerships to enable us to capture new business streams. The successful applicant will manage a small sales team and our in-country agents.
Experience in business development in a professional services or consulting organisation is a prerequisite for this position. The role demands flexibility, creativity, determination and a high level of interpersonal skills. Candidates who have successfully secured strategic partnerships and worked internationally will be preferred.
