Duties and Responsibilities
- To run the MSK Training Centre as a profitable business unit.
- To develop training contracts with the government and other health providers.
- To use own initiatives to create awareness about the MSK Training Centre.
- Enhance the MSK Training Centre’s image as a quality unit which provides high quality training in FP and RH related surgical procedures.
- To look for funding opportunities to contribute towards the growth of MSK Training Centre
- Ensure maximum efficiency of all Team Members involved with the Training Centre
- Liaise between all applicable departments to ensure smooth operation and maximum utilization of the training centre internally.
- Ability to work conscientiously and independently
Qualifications:
- Education - University degree in Business Management or related field.
- Experience - At least 3 years experience in running a business, and /or 8 to 10 years experience at senior level with a profit orientated company / organization.
- Personal attributes - Must be of high integrity, aggressive in marketing and building a profitable business, with excellent organizational and communication skills. Excellent human relations and the ability to perform under pressure. In addition, the candidate has to be results oriented, with excellent analytical skills, initiatives, and commitment to personal growth, as well as the growth of his / her Team.
- Additional: A strong network of contacts in the Kenya Department of Health and other NGO’s will be an added advantage.
