£31,500 per annum (plus £3,300 London Market Allowance)

We are looking for an experienced English Language professional to contribute to the development and realisation of the British Council’s strategy for English by identifying, developing and managing business partnerships with external organisations. You will manage / support internally and externally funded products / projects.
You will have: at least four years working as a practitioner in ELT (teaching and training); an extensive knowledge of the English Language sector and significant demonstrable experience through publications / contributions to journals, presentations at major events, projects or research into one or more of the following areas: teacher training and development, new technologies in language learning, CLIL / bilingual education, intercultural communication, curriculum and syllabus design, global issues in English, English in schools, English in vocational education and beyond, testing and evaluation; a minimum three years experience of managing English projects. A relevant MA in ELT / Applied Linguistics (or equivalent) is desirable.
