PROGRAMMES AND PARTNERSHIPS MANAGER DUBLIN

12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

We currently work in three programme areas: Education and Society, Arts and English.


Through these programme areas we deliver the following outcomes:


• More widespread and better quality teaching and learning of English worldwide;
• New ways of connecting with and seeing each other through the arts;
• Enhanced UK leadership of and shared learning from international education;
• Stronger global citizenship among people in the UK and worldwide.


British Council Ireland wishes to appoint a Programmes and Partnerships Manager to assist in the delivery of projects and activity, and to develop and manage customer/partner relationships in our programme areas. Duties will include contributing to regional and local projects and liaising with British Council offices throughout the world as well as building and maintaining relationships with external partners. Financial planning and management will also be a part of the role as will communicating our programmes to the partners with whom we work.


You must have experience of planning, delivering and evaluating projects in a timely manner and within budgetary contraints. You must also have proven ability to identify, build and maintain relationshps with key partners and be able to demonstrate the use of interpersonal, communication, team-working and influencing skills to successfully deliver customer service to key stakeholders. Fund-raising experience would also be a plus.
