Job Profile:

*
To carry out all financial responsibility related to Awqaf portfolios and investments.
*
Follow up, monitor and report all financial matters & settlements with all related parties internally or externally.
*
Advice seniors on all related relevant financial matters to maximize the efficiency of the department & Bank operations.
*
Supervise the work of related teams of less senior financial and accountants staff members.

Responsibilities:



* Develop, review and approve all Awaqaf financial, operational, business plan, budgeting and financial modeling.
* Oversee all related Awqaf disbursements and repayments and ensure that they are in line with IDB guidelines.
* Supervise accounting & financial data collection, accuracy, processing, reporting and dissemination.
* Supervise the updating process of all related disbursement & repayment records.
* Manage the completion of the quarterly / annual financial reports in close coordination with the Financial Control Department.
* Provide any needed support during internal & external audits.
* Supervise the preparation of financial statements and reporting relevant to Awqaf operations and investments.
* Prepare and ensure that Awaqf financial requests are sent to clients on a timely basis.
* Oversee in-depth analysis of variances between planned & actual disbursements & receipts along with commentary & recommendations in respect of these variances.
* Liase with external auditors for preparation of annual audited accounts in coordination with the Financial Control Department.
* Provide advice and expertise to seniors in the department as required.
* Active participation in Awaqf projects financial analysis and modeling.
* Close follow-up and advice on all matters related to the APIF liquidity investment activities in close coordination with the Treasury Department.
* Act as a source of reference on financial matters.
* Respond to information requests by managers / directors.
* Verify and approve information / documentation in line with the approval process to maintain Bank control procedures.
* Supervise preparation and present financial reports to ensure appropriate and timely action is taken based on reliable financial information i.e. disbursement & repayments to the Financial Control Department to ensure that all disbursements are in-line with the agreed plans and payments schedule.
* Compile, prepare & disseminate periodic performance reports to keep the concerned seniors abreast of the latest progress and development.












Experience:

*
5-8 years experience within a similar role in reputable international / multinational organizations.
*
Knowledge of financial reporting concept
*
Fluency in Arabic and English. Knowledge in French would be an advantage.




Qualifications:

*
University degree in Accounting or Finance
*
Certified qualification is required (ACCA, CA, CPA, CFA)
