MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
PhD in the discipline of Agricultural Economics/Agribusiness.

EXPERIENCE:
Considerable years undergraduate/graduate teaching experience at a recognized university/research institution; several years experience as an active researcher as evidenced by a distinguished publication record in peer reviewed journals and graduate student supervision; a good understanding of the global agrifood system; leadership and administrative experience in a teaching/research institutional environment would be an asset.

AREAS OF SPECIALISATION:
The candidate should be an active researcher with a strong publication record in one or more of the following areas:
• Food Policy and Analysis
• Environmental and Natural Resource Economics
• Production Economics
• Agricultural Markets and Marketing
• Agribusiness

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Must show evidence of strong client service and client liaison skills; be self motivated and solution oriented; a team player and a problem solver.
