PROFESSOR IN LIVESTOCK PHYSIOLOGY

QUALIFICATIONS:
PhD in Animal/Livestock Physiology (Endocrinology or Reproductive Physiology).

EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Considerable experience in teaching and research in an accredited university environment in livestock physiology, especially with reference to nutrition and reproduction. Evidence of a strong publication record in recognized refereed scientific journals is required. Preference will be given to applicants with substantial experience in livestock production in the tropics, working with farmers, and attracting grant funding and research. Demonstration of the capacity to develop key areas of research, and for high quality teaching including design and development of new courses/programmes, and use of ICT will be assets.

Committed, creative, student-centred, team player with excellent communication, coordination and leadership skills.
