LeadBoston Program Facilitator

YWCA Boston seeks a dynamic, and experienced executive trainer to facilitate it’s acclaimed LeadBoston executive leadership program for 50 cross-sector senior-level executives.

Reporting to YWCA Boston’s s Vice President for Programs, this part-time contractor or consultant (approximately 400-500 hours from October through June) works closely with YWCA Boston staff to translate LeadBoston curricula into dynamic, and instructive program days that result in executive learning and improved leadership.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional trainer or facilitator with a strong background in executive development and social justice to make a significant contribution to Greater Boston. Requirements

  • 10-15 years professional experience in programming, executive training, facilitation and coaching
  • Demonstrated knowledge and professional facilitation of topics relating to executive management and training, leadership development, corporate social responsibility and social justice.
  • Respectful, sophisticated and engaging facilitation style where “the participants lead and the facilitator facilitates”
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and evaluate executive management programs
  • Experience in both corporate and not for profit management
  • Professional orientation, entrepreneurial and accountable
  • Availability from October 2011 to June 2012

Additional Qualifications

  • Professional facilitation certification preferred
  • Graduate of LeadBoston or a similar corporate social responsibility/executive leadership development program preferred

Duties

  • Work collaboratively with YWCA Boston staff to translate YWCA Boston’s theory of change, LeadBoston curricula, and social responsibility model into twice-monthly LeadBoston program days and two overnight retreats
  • Facilitate thoughtful and dynamic LeadBoston program activities
  • Ensure that LeadBoston program activities are aligned with YWCA Boston evaluation metrics and theory of change
  • Assist with LeadBoston recruitment efforts including research and corporate outreach
