General Summary:
Americas Field Marketing (AFM) Manager, Cross-Divisional Programs is responsible for developing, managing, and executing cross-industry demand generation programs in support of Americas Sales strategies. He/she manages the development, execution, and measurement of quarterly Unified Sales Promotions for the Americas. He/she manages quarterly and annual planning and budgeting in support of the cross-divisional group. They also leverage available Autodesk analytics to create usable market intelligence influencing marketing and business decisions. Must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develops Field Marketing strategies and campaigns to drive sales within the Americas, based on Corporate & Division's guidance, adapted to the Geo based on thorough market knowledge (market researches, field inputs, channel inputs, customer focus groups).
· Manages quarterly cross-industry Unified Sales Promotions (USP) from inception to completion. Work closely with Campaign Readiness Manager to translate promotional requirements into effective marketing materials.
· Coordinate with Industry Field Marketing Managers to gather input on USPs. Ensure materials resonate with each of the core industries to maximize demand and drive revenue. Evangelizes appropriate integration into industry plans.
· Collaborates with AFM stakeholders in aligning campaign activities and reseller marketing programs to sales programs.
· Work with Channel Marketing team to develop impactful channel marketing tools.
· Maintain a close relationship with WW marketing and industry field marketing managers, to understand and appropriately implement their guidelines, develop on-brand materials, and achieve marketing goals within the Americas.
· Manages the Americas Sponsorship Program. Act as a liaison between Strategic Alliance Marketing and Industry Field Marketing Managers to create annual co-marketing plans. Coordinate implementation of co-marketing opportunities between Autodesk and its partners.
· Leverages data from which to build effective annual and quarterly sales/marketing plans and provide market intelligence to Autodesk Sales.
· Manages marketing budget to effectively support goals and campaigns and is responsible for the effective use of marketing budget to maximize ROI of all programs.
Requirements:
· 4-year degree from an accredited institution in Business, or Marketing; or equivalent experience.
· 8+ years corporate or field marketing experience in a high technology business. Agency experience considered.
· In-depth understanding of marketing communications principles, strategies and methods.
· Proven budget management skills with responsibility for annual budgets over $1 million.
· Experience in a wide range of marketing disciplines, including research, online/search, direct, advertising, and event marketing.
· Multi-tier channel sales and/or marketing experience preferred.
· Strong evangelical and presentation skills desired.
· Proven ability to manage strategic partner and agency relationships.
· Proven strategic/tactical planning proficiency.
· Excellent tactical execution skills and attention to detail.
· In-depth knowledge of design, writing, creative and production practices.
· Excellent writing skills, editing skills, and command of spelling, grammar and syntax rules.
· Excellent understanding of company's products and clients' needs.
