Business Degree Lecturers Australian College of Kuwait (ACK)

Appointment(s) to commence March 18, 2012

The Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) is the only private university in Kuwait that provides international fully accredited diplomas and bachelor degrees. ACK delivers business, marketing, human resources, aviation and engineering diploma programs as well as business and engineering bachelor degrees.

Our Bachelor of Business program is known for its high educational standards that are maintained by our auspice partner in Australia, the University of Victoria, and the highly qualified ACK staff. The Bachelor of Business program enrolment has grown steadily since its initiation in 2006 and requires additional academic staff in preparation for the next semester in March 2012.

Areas of special interest are in the disciplines of Marketing and Economics. Other specializations of Management, Accounting, Business Law and Quantitative methods will be considered. Selected candidates are expected to take up the positions as lecturers by March 18, 2012.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Marketing:
Ph.D. in Marketing from an accredited institution or internationally recognized university; previous college/university teaching experience in the area of marketing and other business related courses required.

Economics:
The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in Economics. Prior teaching experience is required at the college/university level in the areas of economics, operations management, and quantitative methods in business.

Candidates for both positions should have a PhD in the relevant discipline and experience in delivering a range of business courses to non-English speaking students. They should also demonstrate potential for strong teaching and quality research. Primary teaching responsibilities include teaching marketing, economics, and quantitative methods courses at a degree level.

Candidates must play an active role in business research as well as in all the Bachelor of Business activities.
