Senior HR business partner

With the development of a new corporate strategy, Christian Aid is now moving into a very exciting period of change where it will strive to have even greater impact on eradicating poverty and social injustice through the implementation of Partnership for Change. This will demand a significant change in the way that we organise and approach our work. Scaling up our efforts to have greater impact challenges us to increase the efficiency of how we manage and use our resources right across the organisation. This scale of change needs to be really well supported across the whole organisation.

In the true spirit of the Partnership for Change, this post will work closely with the department Heads of Policy and Public Affairs, Finance and Operations and OD and Strategy, supporting them and their senior management teams strategically to respond effectively to the challenges of the new strategy. Working within the department for OD and Strategy, the Senior Business Partner will work with other supporting resources to play a key role in ensuring change is managed effectively in the implementation of this strategy.

This post has been created for a fixed term of 18 months to help Christian Aid through a transitional period of change. It offers a really exciting opportunity for someone looking to take on a new challenge to further develop their experience and skills. Working to the big picture, the post holder will be a significant player in helping the organisation to align itself behind the priorities of its new strategy.

Supporting department heads and their senior management teams, the post holder will need to be an excellent builder of partnerships, establishing trust and understanding across departments they support.
