The Recruitment Team is responsible for ensuring the best and brightest young people in India apply and join ChildFund India. The Recruitment Officer works under the guidance/supervision of the HR Manager and manages the end-to-end recruitment cycle for the organization, develops a talent pipeline, works with the respective line managers/programs team to forecast headcount plans and executes accordingly. He/she will also be responsible for building and leveraging key relationships with stakeholders and create networks across the NGO community that will help recruitments through the year.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Improve time to hire by pro-actively managing candidate sourcing through various channels like job portals, Social Networking Sites, advertising, recruitment agencies, employee referrals & direct sourcing.
Work closely with the State Heads/HR representatives of the region to create and understand the ChildFund India vision in the state/region and drive Recruitment accordingly
Adapt and exemplify ChildFund India’s culture and project the right messages internally and externally
Ensure all recruitment policies, procedures and techniques are adhered to and recommend improvements.
Develop recruitment materials - Instruct, review recruitment materials such as job descriptions, testing tools etc
Maintain an active and organized data bank (Inventory of candidates) of applicants for various positions.
Review & manage relationships with external agencies
Supervise/Co-ordinate the recruitment selection process; Take part in interview process; Share inputs around offer management; Issue offer letters
Periodic reports/dashboards comprising efforts around recruitment to the HR Manager/Reporting Manager
Records Management of all recruitments
Conduct thorough research and participate in driving strategy for an upcoming recruitment cycle based on learnings from previous cycles and inputs from seniors/team members

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Post Graduate Professional degree in HR such as MBA/PGDM etc.
5 years of experience in Human Resources Function with a special focus on Recruitment
Experience of working within a non profit
Experience in handling/managing internal/external stakeholders
Experience in working in a team and able to contribute for achieving the objectives.



COMPETENCIES:

End to end recruitment experience including brief taking, screening, competency based interviewing and offer management
Ability to advise on recruitment methods, approaches to market and sector information
Strong communication skills (oral & written)
Excellent prioritization skills; Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Confident in building processes and procedures
Ability to build relationships with line/program managers
Confident & capable; Results oriented



EDUCATION

Post-graduate / MBA degree in Human Resources
