IBTCI Proposal Writer - Health Evaluations

International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI), a U.S. based international development consulting company established in 1987, has worked in over eighty-five countries and has implemented over one hundred and fifty projects. IBTCI has served governments, private sector companies and several donor agencies. IBTCI offers services in the practice areas of: Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), Accountancy, Integrity, and Financial Management (AIFM), Banking and Non-Bank Financial Markets (B&NBFM), Procurement Reform (Procurement), and Sector Development and Competitiveness (SDC). IBTCI is seeking a Proposal Writer for Health Evaluations. This position will be short term with a period of performance from July 23 to Sep 30. This position will be based in our home office in Vienna, VA.

Proposal Writer

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proposal Writer will have a demonstrated skill, expertise, and experience in responding to solicitations and will work with the technical and proposal management team to help review RFPs and RFTOPs, determine strategy for proposal, and write technical proposals. The writer will ensure responses are compliant with donor requirements, technically clear and accurate, and adhere to IBTCI’s guidelines. Proposal Writer will serve as lead writer and/or editor of proposals. This would include: Coalescing information; leading technical design, writing and/or editing proposal sections such as executive summary, technical approach, management and staffing plans, and other sections as needed; and revising text based on feedback from IBTCI proposal management team Liaise with technical experts to ensure the accuracy of content, and with IBTCI proposal team to ensure accuracy of organization’s content

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Demonstrated writing and editing skills appropriate for competitive proposal submissions Demonstrated skill in using terminology and concepts related to Health & Evaluations issues Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in teams under tight deadlines Ability to create engaging and compelling text while maintaining technical accuracy and adhering to strict page limitations Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative information and also create engaging and compelling text while being technically accurate Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public health, or related field is required. An advanced degree is preferred. In addition, a minimum of seven years of experience; five years writing proposals related US government guidelines; and prior experience writing large scale, complex bids of multimillion dollar value with proven success is required.
