• Provide finance and accounting support to Nems China’s General Manager
• Treasury management and bank relationship management
• Develop management reports including KPIs etc and streamlining reporting including cash flow forecast for existing operations
• Coordinate monthly reporting to Nems’s controller and Finance Director Asia
• Set-up and Maintaining internal accounting and control framework
• Tax planning and compliance and insurance planning and reporting
• Monitor legal compliance and serve as Liaison to governmental agencies.



Financial Management
• Establishing appropriate accounting Policies & Procedures and monitoring adherence thereto
• Supervision of all receivable accounting functions including invoicing, credit control,analysis of credit risk and collection procedures.
• Supervision of the purchasing and accounts payable cycle including the monitoring of authorisation matrix and approval of payment orders and purchase request
• Treasury management : ensuring that cash resources are optimised to meet the requirements of the businesses
• Supervision and preparation of financial and management reports to cater for information needs of internal and group management according to imposed external or internal deadlines .
• Liason with group accounting staff to meet deadlines for the submission of various reports and information
• Preparation of ad-hoc financial and management analyses including cash flow forecasting for the existing operations
• Review and implementation of internal controls and procedures
• Supervision and maintenance of asset registers
• Liaison with internal and external auditors and resolution and address of audit findings
• Management of budget and audit process

Tax Compliance and Planning
• Filing of tax return
• Taxation planning
• Monitoring compliance with customs regulations including warehouse bonded areas
• Setting up custom bond guarantees with insurance companies and monitoring the level thereof
• Monitoring compliance with Transfer pricing regulations

Insurance
• Liasion with insurance brokers
• Setting of insurance levels and reporting to Insurance companies as per their requirements
• Handling and reporting of claims


Capital Acquistions
• Liason with Capital suppliers for purchase or leasing of equipment
• Capital procurement procedures and authorisations
• Accounting procedures , recording of assets and Impairment policies

Company Secretarial and legal
• Compliance with corporate and statutory laws
• Legal counsel liason
• Monitoring legal compliance risk

IT and Systems
• Ownership of IT infrastructure and systems software
• Monitoring and reporting on compliance with systems
• Supervision of design and implementation of systems
• Management of IT infrastructure

Relations with Government and statutory bodies and Customer supplier liaison
• Liasion with various authorities – customs , immigration , Investment agency
• Liasing with key counterparties eg clients TFM , suppliers SNCC



• 6+ years Finance and accounting experience in the region
• Self motivated with a professional attitude. Able to cope in a challenging, fast growing environment.
• Strong communication skills. Must be persuasive and able to gain focus and action from members of other teams whose immediate objectives are not always aligned with our own.
• Drive and determination to obtain understanding of complex, business-driven transactions and report these accurately according to the appropriate accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical skills and Attention to detail are paramount. Identify and focus on the key issues.
• Team player with an enthusiastic approach to fresh and continuous challenges. Aspires to be a team leader. Supports guides and motivates junior team member(s).
• Advanced Excel skills and a willingness to use technology to complete/ improve daily tasks.
• Previous experience in setting up accounting and control systems a plus
