ITAC South Africa - Senior Manager: Human Resources

HUMAN RESOURCES
All-inclusive remuneration package: R775 233 per annum (Ref. ITAC/249)

Requirements: • An appropriate tertiary qualification in Human Resources (B degree or equivalent) • At least 5 years’ practical experience, of which 3 years must have been at management level within Human Resources Management • Sound knowledge and application of all workplace legislation (LRA, EE, BCEA, SDA, and OHS) • Knowledge of and proven ability in the development, implementation and monitoring of strategy, HR plans, policies and procedures • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) • Creative and innovative thinking • Good interpersonal skills • Results focused and professional • The ability to function well under pressure
• Computer literacy.

Key responsibilities: Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent will manage, monitor and control all HR functions within ITAC. He/she will: • Ensure that appropriate human resources management and operating systems are established, implemented and maintained • Provide professional advice to Management in human resources-related matters • Position Human Resources as a strategic function within ITAC • Review and ensure alignment to HR-related policies and procedures, in line with the strategy and all relevant legislation. HR functions include, but are not limited to: • Job profiling • Recruitment and selection • HR payroll • HR strategic planning • Budget review and control • Training and development • Organisational development • Performance management.

Recommended candidates will be subjected to competency assessments and reference checks.
