Senior finance officer, Expenditure

A qualified accounting technician or part-qualified accountant (including part-qualified by experience) is required to monitor, record and report on Christian Aid’s environmental impact, work closely with regional offices and to provide significant support across all functions of the expenditure unit in the Finance Division (including payroll).

The role supports the Expenditure Accountant in ensuring the proper recording, control and reconciliation of Christian Aid's expenditure and provides a first line of cover and support for the Finance and Payroll Officer.

Good analytical and communication skills and experience of accounting systems (preferably Sun Accounts) and excel will be combined with a sound knowledge of charity accounting principles, payroll and tax.
