IT Operations Support Teamleader

Job description 
Within our IT Operations team in Wilrijk, we are now looking for an IT Operations Support Teamleader.Your main responsibilities will be managing a local team focusing on:- The 2nd and 3rd level support of the infrastructure & applications hosted in the internal datacenter in Wilrijk- The 2nd and 3rd level support of the LAN, WAN and WLAN infrastructure in Wilrijk- Coordination of the support provided by our external partnersThis position will report to the IT Operations Manager in Wilrijk & reports indirectly to the different service owners.You will work closely together with the different support teamleaders in Europe and other regions to align the support and to guarantee end to end support for the applications and services used globally.The right candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit, is result oriented, dynamic and strongly customer oriented. You have the competence to coach and motivate a team of young potentials.

Experience requirements 
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT.Experience in leading a team, project management of service management is an asset.Experience in managing external partner delivering part or full service.

Knowledge 
High level technical knowledge of :- Datacenter infrastructure and services- Application hosting- Active Directory- LAN, WAN and WLAN technology and services- Security- Familiarity with ITIL is a must

Educational requirements 
Bachelor degree in Information Technology or similar through experienceThe preferred candidate should have 5+ years experience in the datacenter/ application hosting/ infrastructure/Network domainFluency in English, spoken and written is a must. Other languages are an asset.
