Finance Manager
Mkombozi Commercial Bank PLC established in 2009 as a fully fledged commercial bank offers wide spectrum of banking services.
The bank is now desirous of getting able and qualified individuals to fill the following post:
FINANCE MANAGER
Reporting to: Director of Finance
Key responsibilities:
Formulates the bank's accounting policies and procedures.
Ensures that the entire department achieves a high standard of accuracy and service at all levels at an economic cost.
Manages the accounting and record keeping work for the entire bank.
Encourages adherence to prescribed managerial policies.
Develops procedures for handling and retaining tax and accounting records to satisfy corporate and statutory requirements .
Maintains Investment accounts of the bank Presents annual accounts to external auditors assists them during auditing period and answers their queries.
Follow up effective implementation of the budget by sectional heads i.e. initiates remedial measures in case of variation in actual expenditure over the budget level.
Maintains Finance department that can provide accounting and financial skills to the bank through rotation of Finance personnels and training.
Ensure prompt provisions of relevant financial information to management.
Any other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree/ Advanced Diploma in Accountancy, Banking and lor Finance.
Professional certification( CPA,CIA,ACCA,CISA)
Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
Requirements:
Excellent communication skill in English and Swahili is a MUST.
Not less than five (5) working years from other reputable public or private
Financial Institutions with preferable exposure in Tanzania.
Skills:
Time management and organizational skills
Must maintain ethical and moral standards both personally and within the team.
Strong functional skills, the right blends of banking experience working as a team leader,technologies,knowledge and experience in implementing best practices.
Strong communication and presentation skills, the ability to think strategically.
High level of operational knowledge in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
