PARTS EXECUTIVE

Scope:
The parts executive is to support the aftermarket services of all customer segments. These services include order desk functions, warehousing and inventory management, inbound and outbound logistics for the parts and tools businesses.
Key Responsibilities Includes:
  • Ensuring that all reasonable steps are taken to ensure all employees are provided with a safe and healthy working environment. This includes compliance with the Sandvik Mining & Construction Environment Health and Safety (EHS) management program.
  • To assist and support customers and sales team enquiries for Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and Singapore on quotations or stock status for Parts.
  • Coordinate with suppliers on the purchase and timely delivery schedule to warehouse and customers. To inform the Parts Coordinator and Warehouse Administrator on deliveries.
  • To prepare quotations and then follow-up with customers.
  • To assist in monitoring all credit facilities extended to customers and new credit application.
  • Pricing administration - maintain the price lists and customer discount structures across the segments
  • To monitor warranty claims arising in relating to Parts - only for products directly purchase from Sandvik Mining and Construction Malaysia.
  • To control and replenish stock inventory.
  • To prepare the weekly and monthly reports as per assigned by the immediate superior.
Your profile
  • At least SPM and above
  • Preferably with 3 years of experience in sales coordination or customer service.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are pre-requisites.
  • Must be computer literate and strong knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent in spoken and written English with good flair in customer service.
  • Meticulous and able to multi-task.
