Public Affairs, Stakeholder and Communications Manager
Electus is working with a leading trade body to procure a Public Affairs, Stakeholder and Communications Manager to help implement one of their core programmes in justice and emergency services. You will play a pivotal role in its successful delivery and will be working with the head of programme, key members of industry and high profile stakeholders in both government and the civil service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support parliamentary and public affairs activities;
- Keep abreast of policy and commercial developments;
- Provide briefings, write articles, papers and responses to government consultations;
- Event management;
- Manage and work with high profile stakeholders;
- Develop communication channels including social media, newsletter and website.
Profile of the successful candidate:
- Proven track record and experience of managing complex relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders;
- Experience of successfully influencing public policy with a positive outcome;
- Proven track record of managing events (dinners, breakfast briefings, seminars etc.) ensuring accuracy and attention to detail;
- Comfortable with and experience of working with CEOs and board level executives;
- Knowledge of and proven track record in using media tools (including social media) to influence an organisation’s point of view.
