For the past 50 years Amnesty International (AI) has brought people together to fight for human rights. Strong leadership is vital when pushing for the development and implementation of legal standards and norms in order to empower human rights activism globally.

This role sits within the Global Trust and Foundations Programme within the Fundraising and Engagement Directorate (GFE), which provides strategic leadership t AIs sections for the overall movement growth strategies in people. Money activism and diversity.

About the role:

As the Grants Officer you'll be ensuring the complete and timely implementation of all the IS fundraising grants.

You'll support in the development of high quality proposals, budgets and reports and provide coordination to ensure the fulfilment of existing and new multi-year grants.

You'll assist in the research of possible new Trust and Foundations global projects for the IS and will deliver direct support for program development and grant management.

About you:

You'll have experience in managing large scale multi-year grants to a variety of international trusts, foundations and institutional sources. This will include developing and nurturing of mutually beneficial relationships with funders, ensuring the fulfilment of conditions relating to existing multi-year grants.

You'll have in depth knowledge and experience of project planning with competing deadlines, implementation and monitoring and evaluation and will possess excellent attention to detail, communications and budgeting skills.
