Background

The Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa is an International Baccalaureate World School which seeks to provide students of all backgrounds from primary to higher secondary with an education of the highest standard in order to prepare them for lives characterised by leadership and service.

We invite applications for the following position at the Academy:

Business Analyst

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
  • Budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking
  • Monitoring and reconciling of capital expenditures
  • Preparing of monthly reports for Senior Management Team
  • Documenting and preparing of departmental policies and procedures
  • Analysis and support of various academic and functional areas of the Academy
  • Adherence to strict reporting timeline
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum of a degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Finance
  • Minimum of seven years of experience as Financial, Business or Operations Analyst
  • A professional qualification in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred)
  • Excellent written/oral communication and computer skills
  • Thorough knowledge of industry best standards, and good management accounting practices
