About the Organization:
Established as a non-profit organization in 1997, Microfinance Centre (MFC) is a membership-based resource center in Europe and Asia. With field level activities in 12 countries of the Financial Education Program, MFC is developing sustainable systems of financial education for low-income households. Its mission builds on multi-stakeholder approach, constant innovation in financial education delivery and engagement in policy dialogue.

Microfinance Centre is seeking a Program Manager for its Financial Education Program.

Tasks and Responsibilities:


Development and implementation of the program strategy;
Providing overall vision and leadership to the program team;
Overall program management including program and project planning, budgeting, monitoring and control;
On-going documentation of lessons learnt and knowledge management;
Program staff and consultants management;
Program promotion and representation;
Partnership building, facilitation of stakeholder engagement;
Fundraising;
Contributing to the development and implementation of an overall MFC strategy programs and projects.

Qualifications:


Previous experience at management positions in multicultural environment;
Excellent program and project management skills;
At least five years of professional experience, including work in socio-economic development and/or microfinance and/or for non-profit organization and/or for social enterprise;
Proactive and enthusiastic leader;
Excellent written and verbal command of English. Good knowledge of Russian is a plus;
Sound knowledge of development principles, concepts and techniques. Knowledge of socio-economic conditions in Eastern Europe and Central Asia;
University degree in economics, social science, or other relevant field;
Willing for 25-30% of international travel.
