Reports Officer - United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF)

Purpose of the Position
Within limits of delegated authority, under the supervision of the Chief of Monitoring and Evaluation, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties.

Key Expected Results
1. Timely preparation of donor and progress reports.

2. Country level fund-raising activities are supported by effective fundraising strategy and activities.

3. Effective coordination, communication, collaboration established and maintained with.

4. Integrated information developed and maintained for reporting and fundraising.

Qualifications of Successful Candidate
University degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations or equivalent professional work experience in the communication area.

Two years of progressively relative experience in communication or reporting.
National and international work experience in reporting and communication.
Work experience in an emergency duty station is an asset.

• Professional technical knowledge/expertise in Data Collection.
• Knowledge of relevant Information Technology software.
• UNICEF programme policy, procedures and guidelines.
• UNICEF Stylebook.
• Ethical Guidelines on Reporting on Children.
• Mid-Term Strategic Plan (MTSP).
• UNICEF Policy Papers.
• Country Programme Management Plan (CPMP).

Fluency in English another UN language. Knowledge of the local language of the duty station is an asset.

Remarks
Initially based in Amman, Jordan but will relocate to Baghdad.
