1. Executing technical assistance (TA) and advisory services to the MFI partner
Conduct field missions for the MFI partner:
Technical missions such as:
• Institutional Diagnostic
• New Product Development
• Training of loan officer
• Products development
2. Financial Education to Microentrepeneurs Training
• Diagnostic of the Training Needs
• Adaptation of the Training Tools
• Training of the trainers
• Following up the training process
3. Project management / Program Coordination
• Ensure client satisfaction
• Ensure high-quality standards, timely deliverable
• Coordinate the experts team involved to the project
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate must be a microfinance expert with at least 5 years of operational experience, strong technical expertise and proven managerial skills. He/she must have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for the microfinance sector and a commitment to our poverty alleviation mission. Specific requirements include:
• A strong microfinance expertise with a minimum of 5 years of experience in operational/field positions within MFIs and/or consulting in the banking or microfinance sector and/or in a support organization in the microfinance sector. Demonstrated experience and success developing microfinance institutions, new products and processes.
• Deep knowledge in financial education training process
• Deep knowledge in project management.
• Focused on quality and client-satisfaction, with the capacity to ask the right questions, identify solutions and implement them. Detail-oriented, focused and organized. The ability to anticipate, prioritize and manage tasks in a fast changing environment.
• Experience in a role requiring the ability to build and manage a team, mentor staff in order to support them in leveraging their strengths; willing to both give and accept feedback about performance.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to create persuasive, clear and concise communications to different publics. Strong public presentation, listening, and diplomatic skills, as well as the ability to develop positive and productive relationships.
• A professional demeanor and the capacity to interact with various types of actors (international donors, banks, NGOs, micro-entrepreneurs, governments) and skills to adapt quickly to different environments and cultural contexts. A team player, he/she can easily interact successfully with all levels of staff in a growing and multicultural organization.
• Demonstrated commitment to PlaNet Finance’s mission and programs
• The highest personal and professional integrity
• Fluent in Portuguese. English is appreciated.
